I feel like the Target-esque bullseye is a kind of played-out design element. I see it everywhere. They also seems to be pretty randomly duplicated.
I would have liked to see the eagle a little more integrated into the design -- perhaps transitioning from a digital image to an illustration and breaking off into the design, to pull it all together. As it is, they're pretty separate. Also, why is the eagle rainbow-colored?
Not really digging the maroonish-purple color (except where it interacts with the yellow-orange line behind the eagle). The green and the red work well together, and they don't suggest Christmas, which is a plus

"Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn? Remember how she said that we would meet again one sunny day. Vera ... Vera ... what has become of you? Does anybody else in here feel the way I do?"
Don't mind me ... I'm having a Floyd reminiscence.

I like the background.

Totally agree about the cliche' of the target. But this piece was a quick attempt to make up for a corrupt file
The maroon color was to work off Sandra's piece...
I can see the 'lack' of interaction between photo and design elements. To compensate I used landscape-esque elements and also incorporated some funky colors to the eagle...thus the rainbow
To be honest, as a standalone piece I too find this to be pretty weak. As a way of following off of Sandra's work and adding some variety to the wall I think it's came out somewhat ok.
